Who am I?

I am a scientist who took a turn to expedition voyages in quest of adventures, knowledge and experiences. I hold a PhD in geoscience obtained at the world leading university of ETH Zurich. I currently live in northern Sweden, on a little island at the northernmost point of the Baltic sea, with my wife and my 2 daughters.

Places I visit often

As a expedition guide and lecturer, I am often called up on the polar scenes in the Arctic, the Southern Ocean and Antarctica. This is where I take most of my photo shots.

There is nothing more beautiful to me than the frigid landscapes of the polar environment that is nonetheless populated by the most impressive creatures on Earth.

Projects

I aim to combine my science work with expedition to come back to the original meaning of polar expeditions. In shorts, science should always prevail.
